Reach Out Lakota, Community pantry serving West Chester & Liberty Townships

Seasonal & Special Events

Reach Out Lakota provides supplemental items to our clients through seasonal events. We also partner with the community for special collection events that help promote our organization and fill our shelves with supplies. Click the links below to learn more about specific events.

CAN CREATIONS Sculpture Contest

Can Creations is a fun way for youth groups to support Reach Out Lakota! Your group can join by registering to create and build a sculpture out of non-perishable food or hygiene items. Sculptures can be big or small, simple or complex, everything helps fill our shelves. The contest is FREE to enter and who knows, you might even win an award!

Back to School Program

This program provides our community's students in need with the tools they need to succeed in school. Families enroll starting in June. Donations are collected by various groups and individuals in July. Supplies are distributed to students in mid August.

Stuff the Bus – Lakota Local Schools

As a collaborative effort between local schools and charitable organizations, this friendly competition reinforces to students the importance of giving. Reach Out Lakota is honored to be the recipient of this community wide giving event.

Annual Event – Play It Forward

Play It Forward is our signature fundraising event held once per year in the fall. It's the perfect opportunity to have fun, meet fellow donors, and make a significant impact for Reach Out Lakota.

Thanksgiving Meal Program

Thanksgiving meals are all about connecting with family. This program provides traditional holiday meal ingredients so our client families can enjoy this special day. Financial donations and volunteering are the best way to support this program.

Holiday Meals Program

Held annually in December, Reach Out Lakota distributes holiday food boxes to our clients. Donations are collected through partnerships with local churches and are designed to feed families from Christmas to New Year's.

Holiday Gift Program

Known informally as our toy drive, this program provides new gifts to the children of our clients. Enrollment starts in October with distribution in early December each year.
